Aisha Brown is known as one of the top 3 Aisha’s in North American comedy. This year she’s slated to do her first televised gala at Montreal’s renowned Just For Laughs festival; she’s also performed at JFL42, the Guelph Comedy Festival, Sketchfest and Toronto’s Field Trip festival. This year Aisha made her headlining debut at Kenny Robinson’s legendary “Nubian Disciples All Black Comedy Revue”, and has hosted and headlined Zabrina Chevannes critically acclaimed “Things Black Girls Say”.
Aisha is signed by and performs regularly with Yuk Yuk’s, Canada’s most popular comedy club with several locations all across the country. She was named by Yuk Yuk’s co-founder Mark Breslin as a Canadian comedian to watch, and was featured in the Torontoist’s Local Ladies Who Make Us Laugh 2016. Ms. Brown was recently a featured host on the webseries, “Make Me Read“, and is a writer for the CBC Comedy website. You can also catch her performing and writing with “Runnin’ at The Mouth”; a hip-hop comedy collective; who recently released their first album through Comedy Records, “Wit My Woes”.
